From the kitchen sink to a generation of pink, hair stylist Alex Brownsell created Bleach London after turning bleaching and colouring her friends' hair at home into a lifestyle. These trials grew from a single chair in the corner of a manicure bar to a complete salon the world's first to focus on colour rather than cutting – thanks to the encouragement of best friend and business partner Sam.
Its popularity inspired them to create at-home kits so that their friends and most regular customers could dye wherever and whenever they wanted. As a result, they developed a line of bleach kits, toners, semi-permanent dyes, and high-end hair care for bleached and coloured hair. All ingredients are vegan and cruelty-free, and packaging is recycled and recyclable. Formulations have been modified and improved.
